I am convinced if Jagex management made it a priority to conduct their own RL fork they can (presumably they need to hire the proper people, which takes cash ) and I am attempting to push them into that direction. It's not possible. Regardless of what anti-cheat code you put in in, all someone has to do is delete this code. It's true that you can add additional integrity checks but they all could be disabled. It's only an arms race in that point. Anti-cheat has to be performed on the server side, and the only reliable way is with behavioral investigation. Any"am I the real software" checks can be spoofed. This is the answer that is right. But regrettably investigation can be a very difficult matter to utilize as judge to ascertain that a bot or actual RuneScape player. The bot can counters anything I can think of that may be utilized as a method to detect a bot.
Screen rotate, click delay, break handling, checking stats automobile. These are all things that are cared for by the bot script that can make it impossible to find a bot vs a true RuneScape player. You understand those testing centers to the SAT? Where your government ID is taken by them, and have you supervised on camera, in person, and on microphone? Jagex should let people play those.

I keep seeing people say this, however I believe you are misunderstanding this Jagex statement's purpose. The problem is that plugins and OP clients are being seeped into the broader RuneScape player base, which explains what Jagex would like to stop. Your debate is that people cheating will cheat, that is not representative to buy 2007 runescape gold of the massive RuneScape playerbase and also not influenced by whatever Jagex says. Obviously it is surely a (large?) Problem, but it's better dealt with by bans likely or maybe other legal action, since those RuneScape players are basically undesirable and provide a net damaging to the community.
